Lingerie Girls: Progress 2

lingeriegirl2More progress with the Lingerie Girls! The last post may have seemed like it was one singular girl, but surprise! It’s in fact a series of multiple figures.

I’ve always been fascinated by the female form – its lines, gestures and how it’s used as a canvas for fashion and art. This stems from my love for dancing and movement. Gracefulness and vulnerability (among other emotions) is what I hope to capture. And of course, romantic frills, lace and patterns.

The series is in colour but for the meantime I’m going to focus on the line quality and getting the girls’ essence just right. More to come!

    Nice series idea.
I really like the 3rd pose (on the far right side) for some reason.. even though her face is blanked out? There’s something about it ~

Curious to see how these will turn out when the line work & colors have been perfected in the finals :)

Thanks, Myra. The third isn’t quite finished yet…she does have a face though!

Yeah I’m curious as to how these will turn out too since I didn’t have a “plan” this time. Just doing what feels right!

Very nice, Wendy. I always admire people who can draw, and your sketchings here are so precise. Good job!
