My second tutorial commission for UK magazine Photoshop Creative. This time, I was asked to combine texture, fabric, photos and drawings to create a scrapbook-style collage illustration. All done from beginning to end in Photoshop!
I drew inspiration from the sound and aesthetics of New Zealand indie songstress Ladyhawke. Her 80′s infused hits are so infectious and groovy, it made me channel swinging plaid, tie-dye and a cheesy backdrop. Oh yes, I’m tres hip.
